Apple ♥ Intel?

So I guess Apple is going to begin using Intel chipsets in their computers come next year with all their computers using Intel chips by mid 2007. Pretty interesting considering they've been with the IBM Power PC chipset for over 11 years now... This is HUGE news in the Apple community.

All in all it seems like a good decision. The main reasons for the switch is IBM's slow progress towards a 3 GHz chip and the fact that the G5 processors seem to run too hot to put into laptops. It's a big change, but a nessisary one in my opinion.
