Bab's Uvula Who?

After ten cups of coffee I'm thinking...

There is no reason for me to be this hyper at 3:27 am in the morning! I really need to stop going to Coffee Break with people late at night, it's not good for my schedule. I'm sitting here rocking out to music (currently "Homecoming / The Death Of St. Jimmy / East 12th St. / Nobody Likes You / Rock And Roll Girlfriend / We're Coming Home Again" by Green Day) and having my own little party. Talked to JP for a few hours over iChat tonight. Sad news from the Loveline front, it looks like tonight was Adam Corolla's last night on Loveline. For most, this is no big deal, but I have been listening to Loveline since I was in 7th grade which was in 1994. I know this because I have my 8th grade yearbook sitting next to me (I'll explain later). Things aren't going to be the same without Adam on Loveline. I have no idea who they plan on replacing him with, but whoever it is I'm sure won't be able to fill Adam's shoes. I fear folks, that this may be the beginning of the end for one of my favorite radio shows... and this brings a slight tear to my eye. Since KBER airs Loveline a day later, I will hill Adam's last show tomorrow night. JP currently living in L.A. however, heard it live tonight. I'm glad I was the first to receive the unsettling call as soon as he found out the news. We all know, JP is my eyes and ears in L.A. so check.

As for my yearbook Dtown and I hit up the Break (yeah, that's right, I called it the Break!) and were discussing all the old cats we knew in Jr. High. Cats like David Ochoa (Oach) who used to claim to work for X96 and brag about how he could "shoot his load" further than anyone else. He was also seen rocking out to Korn on his walkman on many occasions. We also touched on Laser, the crazy kid who used to fashion lasers out of shit. This is the same kid that attached a weed-whacker motor to his rollerblades. I think he's dead now. Anyway, I decided it would be fun to whip out my yearbook and look some of these people up on Myspace. Just to see what their up too these days. I found my old buddy Lenny who took a handgun to our elementary school and showed it to me. I told the teacher and consequently Lenny was kicked out of the Granite School District school system. Now he's a college graduate and living in China or somewhere in Asia. Crazy. Now only if I could find Winky. Eh, he's probably dead too...

From the windows to the wall,

You know man...first, wtf with my Driver's License and owned stamped over it, this unsettles me. Second, yes you did call it the break, join the club. Third, I will always be your eyes and ears here till I leave. And, B, Congrats on your interview, we all gotta grow up at some point and answer the call of our dreams! Maybe you will someday.
